We are so happy to “make a difference” to girls in Africa. Thank you to Lisa Packer and her ladies for helping us complete this project of sewing simple inserts for pad kits to provide menstrual pads and holders for Kenyan girls who often do not go to school during their menstrual cycle. Wegmans School of Nursing St. John Fisher College has been sewing these for several years and the demand is still there. In April the Nursing Students are traveling to Kenya to distribute and teach about girls health! We are very grateful for Angels of Mercy members and all our wonderful seamstresses for helping to sew these kits!!!
